A bow front cabinet in Old growth vertical grain Douglas Fir, on an old growth Redwood stand, with Redwood lace burl top.
This was my second project during my stay at College of the Redwoods Fine Furniture School.
The focus was resawing my own veneer from a single plank, for symmetry and continuity. Then using those veneers over a radius form in a vacuum bag, creating the radius panels on the sides and doors.
This cabinet was donated for a raffle, benefiting a homeless rehabilitation effort in Eureka California.
